Today? Proofing. I’ve asked my Kindle to read along with me and it’s happy to oblige–I used to use a TTS program to read along with me, but it’s much nicer to have the Kindle do it. More convenient, too. If I spot a mistake I highlight it, then just flick through later and make the necessary changes. I’m 30% through and I’ve already found three errors, two of which I wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t for the audio. You can’t trust your eyes when you’re proofing. You need a second opinion; your ears will provide it.
