Also, loved The Gifts, which I read this month. I really appreciate your comment about the first draft being your outline. I write like that and I kept trying to force myself to make an outline, as if there were something wrong with me for not having one. I’ve recently come to understand that it’s okay to simply get that draft down so I have something to work with and then the real writing begins.
